Blackened Cajun Spiced Chicken, doesn’t that sound absolutely delish for dinner? Easy enough to made in the morning and ready to cook when you get home at night!

1 tsp sea salt
1 1/2 tbsp onion powder
1 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 – 1 tsp chilli powder
8 chicken drum sticks scored

Combine the herbs, spices and 1 tsp sea salt to a freezer bag.  Place the drumsticks in the bag and shake until all the pieces are coated.  Refrigerate the chicken for at least 30 mins to allow the flavors to combine or overnight if the time permits.

Cook the drumsticks on a barbecue or in a chargrill pan for 55 to 6o mins or until slightly blackened and cooked through.  Note: Brush lightly with some oil to prevent  drying out during the cooking process.
