Digestion – a classic for post meal upset
Hair – peppermint essential oil fights skin dryness and benefits scalp circulation. Mix a few drops into your shampoo, coconut oil or olive oil, or plain water, don’t apply undiluted; massage into scalp and the rinse.
Skin – natural antibacterial and antimicrobial, mint wards off body odor – mix 1/4 cup witch hazel, 1/4 cup of water, 1/4 aloe vera gel, and a few drops of mint essential oil; shake and spritz on clean underarms.
Sample usage: mix 2 cups of Epsom salts with 2 handfuls of fresh mint or 1 tbs loose mint tea. Rub the leaves against the salts releasing their fragrant oil. Place in a recloseable container. To enjoy, pour a scoop of the salts under the stream of running bath water; relax and enjoy for at least 10 mins.
