Sweet and Salty Scrub
Coarse sugar and mineral rich sea salt form a dynamic exfoliate that removes dead skin cells and promotes circulation, while olive oil supplies skin-nourishing fatty acids. Add and essential oil of your choice if you want…
1/2 cup sea salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
Combine sea salt and sugar in a container with a sealed lid and shake thoroughly to ensure ingredients are well mixed. Slowly add olive oil, mixing as you pour. If you are using essential oils, add a few drops. Massage into wet skin. For more intense exfoliating apply to dry skin in a circular motion and wash thoroughly.
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup olive or sunflower oil
In a resealable jar, mix sugar and cinnamon. Pour the oil over the sugar mixture and blend with a spoon. Take the scrub into the shower and massage into warm, freshly cleansed skin. Rinse and pat dry.
The sugar granules gently lift away rough skin, while the oil leaves skin moist and soft. Plus the cinnamon will boost circulation, giving your skin tone more warmth and radiance.
